Warwick Castle Hotel

The Warwick Castle Hotel offers 60 lodge style medieval themed rooms in the grounds of Warwick Castle, owned by Merlin Entertainments Limited (Legoland Parks, Alton Towers etc..)

It was essential that the hotel met modern Sustainability standards while fitting into the castle grounds and giving the visitors an authentic feel with all the modern comforts of a new build.

The project was assessed under the BREEAM 2018 criteria for a fully-fitted hotel building achieving BREEAM Very Good. Despite the main contractor going into administration, SCS were able to keep the project progressing and move seamlessly to a new contractor. Working pro-actively from the start of the project meant that knowledge wasn’t lost in the transition process.

The medieval castle was originally built by William the Conqueror during 1068 and the new onsite hotel hasn’t detracted from the main attraction.
