The redevelopment of Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals has significantly transformed the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, adding approximately 30,000 square meters of both new and refurbished facilities.
This ambitious project features an expanded and modernized emergency care area, designed to enhance patient experiences during critical times. Notably, a striking four-story extension houses specialised healthcare suites, state-of-the-art surgical theaters, and advanced patient treatment facilities.
Our team has played a pivotal role in securing a prestigious BREEAM Excellent rating, meticulously adhering to stringent planning and NHS requirements throughout the process. The project has been carefully executed to seamlessly integrate existing heating and power systems, ensuring that hospital operations remain uninterrupted.
While construction is still in progress, we are optimistic about the project’s trajectory and are confident that it will successfully attain its anticipated BREEAM ratings with precision and efficiency.
