The project consists of the construction of a new boarding house at Sevenoaks School Foundation.
The proposal provides accommodation for 60 girls in the Lower and Upper Sixth including three staff accommodation.
SCS were appointed as BREEAM Assessor to deliver BREEAM Excellent.
Sustainable features included in the design:
- Maximise use of materials with responsible sourcing certifications.
- The use of refrigerant with low GWP.
- Creation of ecological value.
- The use of renewable energy to reduce carbon dioxide emissions such us Air Source Heat Pumps.
