Croes Atti Care Home with a total floor area of 4,000 sqm across four stories, will provide ensuite rooms for residents, multiple lounges, dining rooms, and other wellness facilities.
BREEAM Excellent is required to be achieved so SCS is working alongside the design team to deliver the following services:
- BREEAM Assessor
- BREEAM AP
- Life Cycle Assessment
- RICS Whole Life Embodied Carbon Assessment
- Life Cycle Costing Report
Sustainable measures included in the design are:
- Sustainable transport measures with the provision of VE charging points, car sharing spaces, cyclist facilities and public transport information to promote the use of public transport.
- Use of materials with a sustainable sourcing certification.
- Increase ecological value.
- The design emphasis in the energy and CO2 emissions reduction with an expected EPC rating of 15 i.e. “A”.
