Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter, Bristol

This ambitious project sees the addition of a 5,000-seat arena for the Bristol Flyers basketball team and a new urban village called “Longmoor.” It will also feature a 10-story, 4-star hotel for visitors and 28,000 square feet of office space.

The centerpiece of this development will be Colliter’s Brook, which was partially opened during the stadium development in 2016 but is still enclosed on one side by a high brick wall. This phase of the project will open up the brook with footbridges, allowing the public to enjoy an enhanced green corridor through the heart of the development.

Sustainability is a key focus of the project, with environmentally friendly measures integrated at every stage. Key features will include electric vehicle charging stations, solar panels on the roof, energy-efficient building management systems, and clean energy technologies such as air source heat pumps and CO2 heat pumps.

The project aims to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, underscoring its commitment to ambitious sustainability goals. We have been involved from the early stages of project development to ensure these goals are met.
