10 Station Road, a BREEAM Award-nominated building, is a modern, sustainable office block located in Cambridge. It features five floors, ten electric vehicle charging bays, and 193 cycle storage spaces.
The high-specification offices promote a healthy and sustainable work environment, with additional outdoor areas designed for meetings and relaxation, aligning with contemporary smarter working practices.
The building incorporates solar gain glass and boasts a fourth-floor terrace that offers panoramic views. Its roof features a biodiverse green roof and photovoltaic panels. Equipped with industrial air source heat pumps, the building provides a modern, low-carbon heating solution that enhances energy efficiency for heating and hot water.
As a result of these sustainable features, 10 Station Road achieved an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of A and a BREEAM Outstanding rating of 93.2%. This makes it the first office building in Cambridge to receive this accreditation and the second highest score in the UK.
We supported the contractor in fulfilling their obligations by fulfilling the complex BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) role.
