The project entails the development of a single-storey church designed to foster community engagement and activities. It will include an auditorium for gatherings and events, a café to provide refreshments, a kitchen to support food preparation, and function rooms for various meetings and activities.
We has been engaged as energy modellers to ensure the building is both efficient and comfortable. Our role includes conducting thorough energy calculations that comply with Part L of the Building Regulations, which is critical for achieving optimal energy performance. Furthermore, we are addressing the potential for overheating within the church by applying the best practices outlined in the TM52 comfort criteria. This involves analysing current weather patterns as well as future climate scenarios to ensure the church remains a comfortable environment for all users, regardless of changing weather conditions.
