Colwyn Bay Community & Watersport Centre is the initial phase of a development plan aimed at revitalizing the Colwyn Bay seafront. The building houses community, sailing, and commercial facilities and is located on newly reclaimed land along the seafront.
The development is subject to strict planning constraints, including the need for BREEAM design certification before commencing construction and BREEAM as-built certification before the building can be occupied.
Additionally, there is a requirement to meet renewable energy targets of 20%. The first two certification targets have already been met with support from us, allowing the main contractor to begin construction on schedule.
Furthermore, support has been provided to help commercial tenants implement future environmental requirements through Green Lease specifications.
