The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association Training Centres

Sustainable Construction Services have been involved in the design an  construction of two Guide Dogs facilities. One located in Redbridge and another one in Tollgate.

The new facilities, include an indoor training area and a fully covered outdoor training zone, creating an improved training environment for the dogs and staff.

We have been acting as Sustainable Consultant to deliver a wide services:

• BREEAM Assessor
• BREEAM AP
• Life Cycle Assessments
• Energy Calculation in line with Part L Building Regulations
• Heating and Cooling Loads.
• Thermal comfort Modelling

In addition to the above, for Redbridge project, SCS have supported the GLA requirements with the completion of the fallowing:

• Whole Life Carbon Assessment
• Circular Economy
• Energy Calculation in line with GLA
• Operational Energy Calculation in line with TM54

Both projects have been certified by the BRE at Interim Stage
